Bright, deep burgundy color. Great contrast to Biggio Hamina Pinot. Both good wines, in a different way. This one, deeper red fruit, dark cherry and cola on the nose. Bright red fruit, a bit of mushroom and earth in the mid palate, and then deeper red fruit, cola, and a good balance of acidity on the finish. Hangs on for a bit. Really impressed with this for $20. Floral, aromatic nose. Certainly orange in the glass. Full bodied with a touch of tannin. Earth, and a distinct bergamot note. Great on its own but would be great with grilled chicken or prawns. — 5 years ago
