Hög syra och strävhet ganska fylligt. Smak av jordgubbar rosor körsbär. — 5 years ago
Pretty bottle, looks can be deceiving, but Spec’s recommended and it is absolutely delicious. — 5 years ago
Just lovely. Nose of cherry pie, extremely dry and tanic, with the finish of dark chocolate. — 6 years ago
Dark rubi color, beautiful nose of crushed flowers and lavender, very tannic but somewhat accessible mouth with great length and balance. A fantastic Barolo that is very drinkable now but with outstanding potential to hold. Beppe Rinaldi and daughters did wonderfully in 2013 and this is a must have bottle !! — 7 years ago
Black Cherry, Plum, Purple flowers, campfire. A whole different stratosphere for this varietal. Texturally pleasing and plain delicious. R.I.P. Beppe 🙏🏽 — 7 years ago
1967; 3H Decant.
Nose has dried roses, tar, dried orange peel, dried Bing cherries, wet leather, moist leaves and shaved dark chocolate.
Palate has dehydrated tart cherry, dried orange zest, moist garden soil, sweet cherry notes, medium tannins and light acidity remains.
Evolving and expanding with each sip, complex flavors continue to reveal, not slowing down at all.
A truly exceptional bottle of wine. Made by Beppe Coppa, one of the greatest Lange winemakers. A powerful vintage according to my trusted source on old Italian wine. — 3 years ago

Very fruity and sweet, but not headache-inducing. It’s the perfect level of sweetness for me! :) — 6 years ago
Dark rubi color, very discrete and reserved nose, good grip and black fruit / crushed flowers, lots of tanins and quite polished, an excellent Freisa to drink or hold from master Beppe. — 7 years ago
(Tasted at "Del Posto", La Festa del Barolo Masterclass Tasting)
One of my Top2 was Giuseppe Rinaldis "Brunate". 80% fruit from "Brunate" and 20% from "Le Coste". Of course in a state where it is not delivering all of it's power, but it was still so good with an inner harmony of Brunate fruit, happy tannins and some balsamic notes. This is Brunate to me, even though Beppe might say "it's not austere enough". — 8 years ago

Delicious. — 4 years ago
2017 vintage. Pinot noir weight, body and color. Strawberry and raspberry flavor components up front. Cracked black pepper, tar, parched earth and blackberry on the finish. Tannins afoot but not frighteningly so. Opened a little early but still harmonious. — 4 years ago
Following that poor showing Scavino we needed a sure thing. Hudelot Noellat Vosne village delivered the goods ! Spicy, floral, red fruits, medium bodied, elegant but with the vintage richness. Excellent now, probably much better in 3 to 5. — 5 years ago
This is barolo in its purest form. Balanced, powerful, elegant. — 6 years ago
Sometime you’ve got to standup to bow down. Stellar bottle, eclipsed only by the ‘89. Incredible refinement, balance, and length. Another standout from the beppe dinner — 7 years ago
After 20 min decant this had a powerful attack on the nose, earthy and rich cherry fruit, smoke. The mature vanilla oaky notes have evolved to wet earth tones, including some oak and vanilla bean, espresso. The only thing wrong with this Azelia is that it was served next to the ‘99 Scavino from the same Clos! — 7 years ago
Nicolas Greinacher
This is a higher altitude, east-facing single vineyard Barolo from Paolo Scavino. It bursts with a distinctive floral scent and aromas of blackberries, plums, grilled herbs, subtle smoke, truffles and iodine. Full-bodied, the 2018 Ravera shines with remarkable freshness, elegance and polished tannins, finishing long and powerful. A rock solid Barolo. Drink now until 2040. — 3 years ago
