Special wines for a special occasion! Happy anniversary to my beloved partner in wine!
Initially a bit closed and was thrown off but after about 5mins in the glass the intensity picked up notably. Pears, apples, hint of honey followed by balanced acidity that complement the nose and palate. Kept picking up volume with every glass. — 4 years ago
All day every day. 3 hour decant. Note my bias to anything made by @Benoit Touquette But this is pretty incredible. Out of magnum. #wishicouldbuymorethanone — 6 years ago

Pre and Post Yom Kippur wine. I forgave @Benoit Touquette for all his sins!!! Haha. Extraordinary effort. This wine gets better with each vintage. — 6 years ago
I’ve got a head cold but this bottle is still rockin. Bottle age has softened the fruit character and emphasized a perfumy floral quality. Bruised red stone fruit, ripe soil, and fresh herbs found out the nose. Fine tannins and juicy acidity are persistent through the long finish. A pretty, elegant bottle that is both interesting and a pleasure to drink. — 6 years ago
Heavenly. Thank you @Daniel Taub Great wine by @Benoit Touquette — 6 years ago

Lots of complex aromatics that became even more expressive as the bottle warmed up. Some oxidative notes mixed with bread and flowers. In the mouth this leans to the vinous side. Acid driven which allows it to be consumed through out the meal. Just a hint of bitterness on the finish — a year ago
