Aged Cab flight- replacement for the flawed 1979. Fill into the neck, although the cork was pretty fragile. Still dark and good life in it. The Gemello and Woodside were nice historical references for Santa Clara Valley and northern Santa Cruz Mountain AVA wines. — 6 years ago
If this is rustic, I like it. Blueberries. Pairs well with guacamole. — 7 years ago
Raspberry, Santa Cruz Mountain redwoods & soil. Terrior is unmistakably Santa Cruz Mountains. Stunning.

My 2nd pick of the month from the Santa Cruz Mountain Region. Delicious layers of fruit mixed with coffee, chocolate tones , and a blackberry finish. These wines should be fantastic in 4-7 yrs. laying them down ( but had to taste) hee hee. — 8 years ago
Waaaay too young, but a treat to check out nonetheless. Loud, brawny tannins out of the bottle; mellowed into pure mountain fruits, anise, and an underlying earthiness. — 9 years ago
Loved all of the Flores Wines from the wine fair. Wine maker was super rad too. — 5 years ago
Wow. Supper awesome example of Santa Cruz mountain fruit. Light on its feet with killler precise fruit. Supple tannins and a lengthy finish. — 7 years ago
Dark mountain fruit and lots of complexity. Love the style. — 7 years ago
Not as impressive as their Chard but very French in style and fun to drink. — 8 years ago
A beautiful Santa Cruz mountain cab highlighting all the great characteristics of the terroir. Dark. Bold. Ripe fruit. Soft tannins. Elegant finish. — 8 years ago
So good. Old school mountain cab. Seamless. — 9 years ago
Wow, brand new bottling and a stunning one at that. Santa Cruz Mountains, bald mountain vineyard that is known for minerality and complexity, and this does not disappoint. The nose is rich with a werther's original-like caramel note as well as some peach skin.. lovely aromatics all around. The palate is firm and rich, but retains some zingy acidity, loads of cream, and a lingering mineral-driven finish.. impressive bottle - a standout for $25. — 9 years ago
Fruit forward, mild, plum and cherry, smooth, not a long on the palate. — 6 years ago
Wonderful and I felt lucky to enjoy. Great body. Perfect steak wine — 7 years ago
Should have aged this wine for a decade. Forest and ocean mist, limestone quality to the tannin structure. Excellent wine. — 9 years ago
This would fool any wine professional in a blind tasting into thinking it was from Burgundy. Beautiful balance of earth and fruit, low alcohol, beyond food-friendly. These guys at Arnot Roberts can do justice to just about any grape varietal they touch. And with amazing Santa Cruz Mountain fruit like the Peter Martin Ray Vineyard has a long history of producing, it's a perfect recipe for magic in the bottle. Oh yeah, 2012 was a pretty decent vintage as well. — 9 years ago
