Nicely done wine with big fruit, black licorice, plum, baking spice, kola nut, and dry black earth. Wine is balanced except for the tannins which are strong and rustic. Medium (+) finish. Nice wine. My other bottle will need to stay laid down for another 5 years or so.

Lots of sweet cherry fruit, vanilla, smoke, and baking spices in the nose. Medium everything in the palate with more sweet cherry, vanilla, and spice. This is a great midweek wine.
