Much more drinkable than past years! Didn’t need to breathe as much. Good!! — 5 months ago
Bright ruby red color. Bountiful aromas of red berries and dried violets. Pallet is full of strawberry and raspberry fruit with hints of black tea, baking spices, earth and pepper spice. Just a bit of a “gamey” quality as well. Nice hint of oak on the clean finish. Fine tannins and bright acidity. Creamy texture. Rich and nicely rounded. Absolutely a “California-Style” Pinot Noir. Nice choice, Mark Smith. — 2 years ago
This was terrific. 16 years in. Softening. Still holding onto those leathery notes. Good stuff. — 4 years ago
Burst of ripe fruits with hint of Tabasco, opens up very quick, taste of chocolate, beautiful wine by itself — 5 years ago
Tastes like buttered popcorn! — 6 years ago
Surprisingly complex and nuanced. There is an undeniable floral component to this wine that is quite atypical for Zinfandel. Mineral-laced, spicy, elegant and simply delicious. Aside from a hint of blueberry jam this is in no way your typical Dry Creek Zinfandel. Weight and texture are beautiful. Loving the lavender and violets. Easily the best wine I’ve had from Maple Vineyard. This is Zin! — 7 years ago
Diora Pinot Noir from Monterey. Rich depth of black fruit nuances from Santa Lucia Highlands. Decanted to let it open up. Very enjoyable. — 5 months ago

Just a perfect wine. Opened at the right time, served with the proper meal, and just so grateful for those moments when the stars align and you open a wine you know is good at the perfect time. Angela is just crushing it. — 5 months ago
