Refreshing, slightly tart, fruity — 7 years ago
A shockingly clean and dry Riesling with subtle skittles-like aroma. Significantly more enjoyable on day 2 (a decanter not available to me). I am far from an expert on this stuff but I would imagine some more years under the belt might help this yield more? Acid for days but not aggressive. Just tightly wound. A fascinating encounter. — 7 years ago
"This Cabernet Sauvignon Syrah blend contains essences of chocolate, spice, cassis and dried fruit.". Wonderful Texas Hill Country wine. — 3 years ago
Visiting Fredericksburg TX for a few days. This is TX hill country and has a big winery community. Never tried any TX wines before but found a few surprises here. We tasted at Becker earlier today but not this wine. $30 on the restaurant wine list. Becker wasn’t our favorite stop but it is the only local winery represented on their list. Overall local wines seemed overpriced compared to CA wines. Just realized we had an older vintage (2018) on our last trip from Houston to Anaheim. It’s interesting that most of the grapes used in the local wines come from Lubbock (panhandle) area. Don’t know where these grapes came from, or what varietals are present. — 4 years ago
Black currant on nose and taste with cherries hint of cocoa great length. Very subtle tannins. 1-2 more bottles drink over next 2 years. — 6 years ago

Very pleasant Texas Malbec. Consider it a solid red table wine. — 7 years ago
No doubt about its excellence. Old-school aromas, from long-aging in old wood and bottle. Not as ethereal as the best Brunellos and more earthly, but just as fine. — 7 years ago
Love this, oaky, kept it room temp — 3 years ago
Juicy, rounded texture with fresh fruits aromas. — 4 years ago
Concentrated chocolate had at total wine sample — 6 years ago
Mon dieu! This wine has an incredibly mineral-flushed nose, almost minty from all the whetstony chloride-alkaline minerals! Light ruby slightly hazy in color; medium-high acids and fine tannins, red fruit-dominated and perhaps a bit disappointing on the finish. Try in 3-5 years?! Excellent value at 10 USD for a half bottle! — 7 years ago
Reminiscent of good quality Chambolle with a touch more flesh and pliancy. This is stupid good for the price, when I’m old I’ll be bitching about how cheap this was back in the day. High toned, crunchy, deeply earthy and loaded with ripe red/black fruit. The finesse is there. Black cherry, wild strawberry, rhubarb compote, black tea, wildflowers, wet leaves, undergrowth, spice. Again, the elegance coupled with the perfume and harmony this carries really delivers. — 7 years ago
We enjoyed this. Just drinking, no pairing. — 7 years ago
