Superb nose with green apple, wax, pear, a tiny touch of honey and a tiny bit of reduction at first, that went away after a short while in the glass. The palate is very precise with a laser beam acid drive, some matter and a nice mouthfeel, apple and pear notes, and a long, clean and fresh finish with the same fruit notes. I had it along a nice scampi ravioles dish in fish espuma and it was a perfect pairing. — 8 months ago

The 2020 Beaumont is fabulous in the way it marries power and finesse. Crushed red berry fruit, charcoal, dried flowers, spice and tobacco lend notable complexity. An estate that I really like but this vintage had not yet completely convinced me. It was simply the time it took for everything to take place. Beautiful Gamay, dry and concentrated, with a breeding that brings a refined classicism. The mouth is delicate and deep, airy with a more dry and mineral character than the gamay of Beaujolais. A very beautiful Burgundy wine, full of elegance. 2016 finally ready to drink.

Un domaine que j’aime beaucoup mais cette cuvée ne m’avait pas encore complètement convaincu. C’était tout simplement le temps nécessaires pour que tout se mette en place. Très beau Gamay, sec et concentré, avec un élevage qui apporte un classicisme raffiné. La bouche est délicate et profonde, aérienne avec un caractère un plus sec et minéral que les gamay du Beaujolais.
