Delicious! I like Sauvignon Blanc, but some of it can be overpowering for me. On the other hand, love Assyrtiko. This is a beautiful blend! Not only terrific fruit and minerality, but nice and dry…and it has some brine…I dare even say a green olive tinge. Loved it…and even tastier when in Cyprus ;-) — 2 years ago
Another great Orange wine from this Cretan producer. Very mild orange flavor but the hint of citrus just pleases. The nose is flowery and just perfume. This — 3 years ago
This is a great bottle. Mineral drive, good cut, medium+ body. Just really good wine that most people sleep on — 4 years ago
It was a very hot day on the coast of Los Angeles and this chilled Greek gem from the island of Santorini hot the spot. Crisp, light and citrusy with a steely minerality and a slight bitterness on the finish which literally stopped me from gulping it too fast. Paired with a German style dinner of pork schnitzel and potato salad. The cider vinegar and mustard dressing of the potato salad pushed aside the slight bitterness and bounced playfully with the citrus acidity of the wine. Riesling would have paired well of course, but I just adore an Assyrtiko. It makes me feel like I am on vacation. — 5 years ago
Oaky tangy tart. Very nice. Honeyed roundness up front but the acidity slices right through leaving a bit of minerality at the end. — 6 years ago
Ashy accents from the volcanic Santorini soil, medium body, creamy and supple, paired well with a grilled calamari dish. — 8 months ago
Screaming acidity, lovely tropical notes, green apple, salinity. — 2 years ago
Salty tropical fruit, salinity, dances on the tip of tongue with faint effervescence — 3 years ago

Alex from John's reco - $26.99 - Good crisp white wine, though don't need to buy it regularly for that price. — a year ago
Выпито в тот же день в том же ресторане. Assyrtiko - автохтонный сорт винограда в Греции . Это вино произведено на острове Санторини - острове моей мечты. Я там обязательно когда- нибудь буду. — 3 years ago
In addition to the great old-vine and oxidative elements, we still enjoyed a fairly bracing Santorini assyriko acidity and even volcanic minerallity. Bought at the winery. — 6 years ago

I like them stronger but this is sparkling on taste and very thin… easy to drink. Recommend it for cheese and ham to share and a good talk with friends — 6 months ago
