My husband likes the really sharp, grapefruity sauv Blancs which I’m less enthused by so they suggested this at the wine shoppe, and I was pleasantly surprised. Nice and minerally but still has that sharper citrus element too. — 3 years ago
Wow delightful and refreshing. Lemon/rind and mineral. Get some! — 5 years ago
Amazing dry white that has limited production in the U.S. Thus varietal hails from the Piedmont region originally. Ponzi planted a plot back in 1990 and each year it produces this amazing wine. Peach, almonds. Some pear on the nose. Lovely aperitif or with appetizers. Small production so if you can find it...get it! — 5 years ago
Excellent. Strong notes of guava and passion fruit on the nose. Dry with a bitter tannic bite on the finish. — 7 years ago
Fruity and fizzy, a good mouthfeel, the tingle lingers. "For when you've had a hard day and don't want to think". Thanks MM — 6 months ago
Peach fuzz, pineapple, and sea spray. Zippy acid with excellent mid palate weight. Orchard fruits with a pleasantly soapy minerality to finish. Good stuff! Thanks @Ryan Maxwell — 2 years ago
Not sure if I've been here before.... This has potential, but needs time... At least.
Flint, ash, rose, white pepper, and only a hint of strawberry on the nose.
More red fruit on the palate, including strawberry and red cherry. Sour red cherry. Tannins are very nice at medium plus. Alcohol at medium plus. Acidity is medium. This can certainly be expected to improve with ageing, but I'm concerned that the fruit is not still dominant at only two years in.

Absolutely delicious. A little bit of everything. I would hoard this wine if I could. — 7 months ago
Bright, easy, cherry vibes. — 3 years ago
Really lovely wine with fresh orchard and citrus fruits, some exotic spice, an element of creaminess with coconut and lavender. Amazing acidity that keeps if fresh and light, despite the bit of weight behind it. — 4 years ago

Honeydew, pear, white nectarine, white flowers, grassy. Smooth, good acidity. Nice finish. — 6 years ago
Sipping Fine Wine
Originally called "Nebbiolo bianco" due to the shape of the bunch and the size of the berries similar to Nebbiolo, also known as white Barolo. Pale lemon with aromas of stone and citrus fruits with honey notes. On the palate flavors of lemon, apple and herb character. Medium+ finish, lively acidity balance, ending with citrus and mineral character. Nice value! — 5 months ago
