Best $18 bottle Pinot that I’ve had in quite some time. Thank you to the great people at the California Wine Country podcast and Bottle Barn in Santa Rosa for turning me onto this wine... — 6 years ago
Beautiful, dark red, perfume fruits. Black currants, blackberries, dark cherries, black plum, black raspberries, boysenberries, lots of blue fruits, expresso, anise, leather, some graphite, sweet dark moist soils, medium intensity volcanic minerals, limestone with blue and dark red floral bouquet.
The body is full. The tannins are round and nicely soften. The structure, length, tension and balance have hit harmony with plenty of life left ahead. Dark currants, blackberries, dark cherries, black plum, black raspberries, boysenberries, loads of blue fruits, expresso roast, anise, dark chocolate, a little caramel, leather, some graphite, leather, dry tobacco, touch of dry herbs, sweet dark moist soils, medium intensity volcanic minerals, limestone and blue and dark red floral bouquet. The acidity is round and beautiful. The finish is long, very well balanced, elegant, polished and lasts minutes.

Amazing Pinot! — 7 years ago
Very deep purple color with ruby hues. On the nose: a bit of minerals, dark red fruit jam and pepper. Taste: medium tannins, a bit dry with hints of dried black cherries, plum and cracked black pepper. Good value. — 8 years ago
Very nice flavorful wine! — 5 years ago
Double decant (lots of fine sediment). A beguiling Deep Purple [Machine Head rules]. On the nose: black fruit, earthy, floral some slight barn yard funk which I luv. Taste: silky, nice balance with black cherry, pencil lead, spice and cedar with a long finish...drink em now or over the next 8 years!! — 6 years ago
Barn yard smell, almost carbonated. Delicious! — 6 years ago
There have only been 3 wines that made me a little teary eyed and I am proud to add this one to the list. On the nose it’s like you’re stuck in a Cuban cigar box, bing cherry, freshly tanned leather, tobacco. Red currant, ripe cherry, this wine sneaks up on you and then boooooooom you time travel to an old barn, smokiness, wet hay, dark chocolate finish. The tannins could not be better. A quick tartness then a very mellow finish. The finish lasts for 5+ minutes. I honestly don’t know how to give this wine its proper recognition. Such an amazing piece of Napa history. 2001 bright cherry and raspberry. — 8 years ago
Affordable (at bottle king), with distinct flavor profile: fruit, flower notes, leather — 6 years ago
2 hour decant (minimal fine sediment). The much hyped 2005 vintage!.....A dazzling dark purple/ruby red. On the nose: black fruit, forest floor, cedar, and the start of some barn yard funk. Taste: blackberry, currents, graphite, tar...tannins still there, but starting to sweeten with a long brooding finish. If you like em young and have some bottles, open one and keep the others for the next 20 years (we will pop another in 4 years). — 6 years ago
Excellent wine on its own or wen with chicken Parmesan! — 7 years ago
Instant favorite , mad funky , barn-yardy and fruity. — 8 years ago
I recently had a 2015, thought it needed more time so I searched for an older vintage and found a 2012, their debut vintage of Two Creeks Pinot Noir. A blend from 2 different Vineyards (43% Apple Barn & 57% Annahala) and aged for 10 months in French oak (38% new). Aromas red and dark berry fruits with complex, soft earthy spice notes. On the palate juicy cherry and strawberry flavors, rich and complex with a great mouthfeel, integrated spice and oak. Smooth tannins with good balance with acidity on a lingering finish, an outstanding wine that I would have to say is perfect now! — 8 years ago
Barn funk smell, some tannin coming through the deep berries and high acid. Love Olivier Cousin. — 8 years ago
