Unlike the Oakville Estate this was bright and generous on pop. It continued to shed tannins and round out with time and air. Lots of purple. Violet hues, ripe plum and Adrian Peterson (purple Jesus)....hedonistic yet inviting and comfortable. Keeping it classy but the pictures in my head of the after wine activity would certainly qualify as my most epic Delectable post. I promise a future Jessica pic in the future. It would be selfish not to share. — 8 years ago

2nd time after 3 years of waiting - decanted two hours - I am not Rocky but if I was I would say "Yo Adrian" this is great - Give this wine a little time in the decanter and I promise you will have Smiles - a bit of breathing softens it and it is damn good- rich black fruit - great smell - it is ready to drink now and improved from three years ago - so if you got it - drink it now and promise you will smile — 9 years ago

What a delightful Pinot from Humboldt County in Northern California. This limited production offering (only 3 barrels) from Micah Joseph Mirth and Adrian Jewell Manspeaker is totally top notch. It’s so Burgundian it gives me goosebumps 🤤 Black raspberry liqueur, blueberry, spiced cherry, preserved strawberry, dried herbs, freshly picked flowers, violet, damp stone, crushed earth, forest floor, and nuanced baking spices. I could drink this everyday. — 7 years ago

This is a partnership with Adrian Hoffman. This wine creates a body glow like I've not experienced. The mouth entry just is an OMG long moment. The lush fruits explode and layer over your palate. Ripe, lush, fruits of; blueberries, turning dark cassis, black plum, blackberries, warm soft spices; Clove, nutmeg, cinnamon & hints of vanilla, light baking spices, black tea, plum cake, light tarry notes. Then, the lighter red fruits unfold as it sits on the palate. Perfect wine harmony!!! 4 years in oak. — 8 years ago

I don’t know if it’s because I can’t get it in the US or if it’s inextricably linked to my fantastic memories of skiing in Zermatt with my family that I love this wine, but I LOVE this wine. It has such a complex flavor profile and such a delightful balance of acidity and fruit that I wish I could drink it every day!!! — 6 years ago
