Je sais que c’est jeune mais j’en ouvre une quand même pour me faire une idée. Petit coup de carafe, le nez peu jasant devient plus expressif sur les fruits noirs, une touche de conifères mais à peine, mais une bouche plus expressive et texturée, assez puissante et avec de la matière et du volume, mais sans excès et avec du beau fruit, assez long, au final on voit tout le potentiel, très bon maintenant. 90-91

Still very young but opening one anyway since this is a Villages wine I always love, a quick decant helps the nose to become more expressive with a dark fruit profile, the palate has great volume and texture, more expressive than the nose, medium to full bodied but nothing over the top either, the fruit is gorgeous and the wine is very approachable, nice delicious finish not too square for a young MSD, good right now, the potential is great. 90-91 — 2 years ago

It was good a year ago, even better now! Wow, love the mouthfeel, almost coating yet light and crisp. Superb body! Costal breeze on the nose with touch of cream-slight nudge of salinity on the front of the palate. White peach pith, tea and citrus notes dominate. The finish is the show, balanced acidity while blending flavors of praline and smoke. — 7 years ago

Aromas of petrol, lime, gardenia, pineapple, apple pie, smoked oysters, backed by a slight mineral tinge. Very different from the saturated late-harvest-style of most New World Rieslings, but not as racy as an Aussie. Straddles the line between New World Chardonnay and Old World Alsatian Riesling flavors. Great finish but not particularly long. — 3 years ago

Premier nez Laurence me souffle fumée... je comprends bien son descriptif que j’associe plus à un côté cendré qu’on retrouve chez DRC. Au nez on a aussi de la rose, des fruits rouges et légèrement un peu de vanille. En bouche, ca explose, ca tapisse, c’est soyeux, mais on voit toutes les saveurs un peu sur la retenue. Belle longue finale. Sera encore plus harmonieux dans 5 ans. — 6 years ago

Drew at Harper Voit uses a lite hand when it comes to crafting wines. Got two and decided to open one to see how it's tasting at such a young age. Classic Willamette PN. Love the wines Drew is producing. To me this is a blend of old world and new. Supple and expressive. mouthwatering. Masterfully balanced tannins and acidity.
