My Rating 87 Points.
Price $20.
Dark inky in color with a purplish rim.
Fruity on the nose with blackberries, dried figs, smoke, sour cherries, earth, licorice, eucalyptus, spices, chocolates, metals, herbs and black pepper.
Full-bodied, but not bold, Elegant and soft, with medium plus acidity and watery legs.
Dry on the palate with black currants, plums, raspberries, earth, green vegetables, herbs, spices, chocolates, tobacco and peppercorn.
Medium finish with fine grained tannins and tart cranberries.
A nice Napa Zinfandel. Not a typical one I would expect, but drinks nicely. Still a bit unbalanced and needs another year in the bottle. A little hot at the back of the throat, too.
Not very complex but enjoyable by itself or with food.
Aged in French Oak barrels.
14.5% alcohol by volume.
