Dauvissat’s 2011 Clos is in a great place as it enters the early stages of its prime drinking window. It has a really expressive and classic nose of algae, lemon pie, and wet rocks and there’s a nice sea spray salinity on the back end. It’s deep, textured and focused on the palate with good cut and pretty imposing power. Long and persistent finish. It had a 3 hour double decant which definitely helped its great showing. Perfect sushi wine! 🍣 🥰

Soft saline citrus fruit. Rounded. Limestone, slate. Very pretty and defined. Really beautiful stuff. What a wine.

Alongside the 02 this is a pup. But what a wine in prospect. Some of that oyster shell and soft lemon on the nose. Tightly coiled but not ripe on the middle. Great balance. It needs time, but great.

Limpid, settled, oily, packed with minerals and oyster shell. Beautifully complete and whole. Lovely acidity and length. Fantastic now and for time to come.

Very lifted with lemony fruit and oyster shells, salinity and minerality. Great fruit, very sharp and conditioned and lean. Great stuff. A whiff of melon. Young but fresh and really enjoyable now.

Totally pure and pristine Chardonnay, with oak taking a backseat to mineral expression. Plays well with Epoisses and a variety of cheeses
