Fantastic! Nose of caramel, licorice, dark fruit and earth. Flavors of black fruit, vanilla, herbs, earth. Medium to full bodied, it is young, so it needs some air to open up but your patience will be rewarded.

Jun 11th, 2018Great B d’Alba, powerful tarry aromatics and a grippy, silky-juicy trip over the palate. Will be way better (smoother, tad less tannic) in a year or two, when 93+ will be easy. Nice!

Dec 11th, 2017Really a food wine, had the acidic backbone and tannic structure to go with just about anything. Should have ordered in reverse tonight. It was pleasant enough, just not much of a sipper.
