Such great value for every day neb! Plum & flowers on nose - more of that plus dark earth on palate. Silky tannins and great acidity. Nice with good ol red sauce & gnocchi but could stand up to a steak as well!

Medium bright ruby color. Heavy tar nose at the beginning, mixed with a hint of rose petals. Charming. Let it rest for a while, I got sour cherry, sweet cinnamon, plums, passion fruit, campfire and smoky nose. On the palate, it's smooth and it has bright acidity, medium dry. Dusty and iron rusty. Solid and very approachable. 13.5% alc. 2013 vintage

Dark cherries, red currants, fennel pollen, menthol, dried mushrooms, moss, spicebox, and earth. A real sweet core of fruit surrounded by secondaries.Tannins are elevated but very fine and despite their presence they seem to accentuate the acidity very well. There's a real elegance in this wine in its balance and approachability.

Floral with mature dark fruit in the nose... a bit of spice on the palate with plenty of fruit forward. It is a delightful wine to enjoy with earthy dishes, especially mushrooms.
Drink it now as it is at its peak!

Beautiful nose of dark chocolate and cherry. Pretty floral rose element. The tannin structure is still present with nice acidity and a good overall mouth feel. Slight chalkiness still with some oak, wet dirt, dark cherry, and that bitter chocolate coming through again. The chocolate wasn’t expected at all. You can taste the density and body in this wine. It’s quite nice. I’d like another.
