Deep Purple in color with a dark purplish rim.

Pronounced nose of black currants, blackberries, plums, sweet cherries, cedar, vanilla, spices, leather, licorice, chocolates, mocha, earth, eucalyptus and black pepper.

Full-bodied with medium plus acidity and long legs.

Fruity on the palate with blackberries, cherries, sweet strawberries, light vanilla, coke, earth, leather, dark chocolates, spices and peppercorn.

Medium finish with smooth tannins and sour cherries.

This Malbec based blend, is nice and entertaining by itself. Great addition to food as well. As a 5 year old it is balanced and spicy, but not intrusive.

Good right out of the bottle and better in the first 90 minutes as it becomes sour afterwards.

Probably on its way out so this is a good time to drink up, if you have this vintage on hand.

A blend of 70% Malbec 18% Bonarda and 12% Syrah from Mendoza, Argentina.

I paired it with cheeses and light appetizers.

14% alcohol by volume.
