Aug 30th, 2013Ian D'Agata has a very good note on this one, where he emphasizes the austere quality, but which goes with beguiling length and mineral tones. Perhaps the most mineral of the Terre Nere I have had recently. This is the 2011 Santo Spirito.

Jul 12th, 2014It was as if Jesus Christ himself reached down into the soil on the slopes of Mt. Etna, stirred it around with his finger, and drew this out. Herbaceous, earthy, medium bodied, long finish, the tannic experience a great wine should have.
