Thank God. Dependable Stags Leap rescues wine #1. Creme de Mint, vanilla, licorice, melded together with nice grippy tannins that aren't bitter and uncomfortable. Solid.

Way too young. Still pretty tough after a 5-6 he decant. There’s is a lot of structure here and the dark roasted fruit plays well with the other aromas / flavors like charcoal, pencil lead, and soil. Not my go-to style of wine, but decent with prime rib.

The 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Artemis is a very pretty wine that shows just how alluring the vintage is. Open-knit and silky, Artemis is so inviting today. Crushed flowers, hints of spice, leather, cedar and tobacco add attractive layers of nuance to this mid-weight, gracious Cabernet Sauvignon from Stag's Leap Wine Cellars. Dark fruit, full body. Can tell you are getting into some oak on the nose, but ultimately oak does not over power. Strong but mellow in mouthfeel and smooth. Agree with another reviewer who called this a big wine. Has the vanilla the soft oak bite.

We were with friends who brought the bottle to a pic nic. Serious stuff. Did not took notes but great balance and complexity, accessible. Excellent and very balanced bottle.
