Made from vines planted in 1910 at a nearly 2,000-foot elevation. Dark red almost purple with dark fruit aromas with aromatic spice. On the palate blackberry and plum with coffee and pepper notes, firm tannins on lingering finish ending with toasty mineral tones.

Big plum and blackberry fruit, balanced by tobacco, black pepper, and cedar notes. Well structured, very nice with bbq pulled pork. A bit more refined and interesting than lots of Cali Zins.
