Have had 2 bottles of the 2014, really great Big Red for a great value, classic Cab with very rich fruit notes, have poured it for 2 different groups (one group was blind tasting) everybody loved it.

Awesome big cab and a great value. It keeps pace with wines that are twice the price.

@Shay Aldriedge Thank you very much for sharing this bottle with Jennifer and I. I'm not sure I can add much more to what has already been said, except...thank you. Please send me his contact info!

This is so good I cannot believe it's under 75...60...45...30 bucks a bottle!!! Great big fruit, smooth tannins, great acid. This was a challenge among Delectable friends to highlight sub-$40 wines and @Shay Aldriedge gets the 🥇for introducing this to me. Bought a six pack based on his recommendation and regret not buying a case or two for everyday drinking. I'm wowed by this QPR.

First of the three bottles from a bottle swap with @Shay Aldriedge and definitely a great value wine! Correct me if I'm wrong but I think the retail price is $35. Thanks Shay! Can't wait to try the other two.

Deep garnet red with a ruby core. Layered nose with a slightly savory attack with bark, smoked herbs, and a touch green. A bit of fruit too; dark berries, black cherries, and blackcurrants. Moderate tannins (6.5/10) and solid acidity. Dark red berries on the palate with a touch of anise. Well integrated with a savory mid-palate. Medium plus bodied and long finish. Drink till 2023.

Wow. Yeah, this drinks well outside its price point. Pours DARK in the glass with a maroon meniscus. Nose of blackberry and mocha. Entry is soft, fruit forward. Dense. Dark chocolate mocha and pepper to the finish. Not overly complex but wasn't really designed to be. Dusty finish as if a large part of this is decommissioned Rutherford fruit. Tannin is soft. Black pepper finish, big on its own and more tame with food. Went well with pulled pork sliders and peppery cole slaw. This is definitely a bottle that is made to pop and pour. But this is well made and the structure is there! The best days of this wine are right now. Thanks @Shay A !

Heard much about this via Delectable friends I was eager to give it a go. Approachable from the open, if not super complex. Smooth, with rounded fruits and a nice bright finish. As others have said here, a go to ‘workhorse’ Cabernet.
