This 50-year anniversary special bottling of 07’ is hands down the best sparkling not named Champagne that I’ve tasted.
The nose reminisces a great BdB with pear, green apple, citrus (mainly lime) peel, white flower, brioche, and hint of seashell. Initial taste follows the nose, then come grapefruits, ginger spice, pie crust, and chalky minerals. The palate is broad, savory yet refreshing, with creamy mousse playing nicely with penetrating acidity.
A really profound bottle.
