Complex and heavy, this wine features as a Napa - like fruit bomb coupled with a more mature aroma: ripe fruit and spice, fresh cut flowers on the midpalate; a bit of smoke on the nose. Tannins feel like a dusting of cinnamon.

Nose: dark fruits, blackberry, blueberry, and black cherry. Tiny dash of licorice, maybe tobacco. Maybe some currant. Nice! Taste: smooth, a little sweet, distinct tobacco. This isn’t bad at all!!! This is actually really solid for the price (can’t quite remember, but looking online I think it was about $10). I will try this again! 88-89.
