Sleek and expressive. Nose fills with violets and cinnamon-showing root beer and cardamon...with a hint of effervescence?? Back of the palate I get this deep cherry drop.

Smoking bottle of wine. It's been great since it was a baby. This is just all lively fruit and acidity. Gaining complexity. Will hold on 3-5+ years easily.

2008 Vintage. These really need more time than this before they realize their potential. Would age 4+ more years if I had another one.

Still can't believe that a guy who eats, sleeps and drinks Napa cab everyday, makes pinots as lovely as these. This has aged amazingly well. Tasty, tasty, tasty!
