I'm a sucker for Pernand. Super mineral nose. Some hazelnut, some iodine, some lightly toasted oak. Classic PYCM nose here. Will need one or two hours to integrate aromatically. Palate is ripe and focused with terrific acidity. Carradeaux makes tannic reds and ripping acidic whites. Love the site. Palate is compact like 12 can be with serious nerve and energy and so mineral. Needs air and my score will go higher.

Oak on the nose. Nice acidity. Still oaky. Needs 4 years. Not sure if I would care to wait that long for this. Outside of the oak this is well made I think. Of course otherwise mrs Lincoln enjoyed the performance ... Maybe I just don’t get it.

Lots of matchstick character when first opened. Hazelnuts, lime pith, and a bit of butter with a couple hours of air. Tart balance.

Still a bit tight, but good balance of citrus, mineral and oak. I love this style of burgundy

Enjoyed, but not overly so. Some new oak for sure, but not too much. Good grip and finish. Wanted it to be a bit more angular
