Clos des Goisses Brut Champagne Blend

Yeasty, fresh and bright. Lovely settled midpalate with creamy, settled clear lemon.

65% Pinot Noir, 35% Chardonnay. 11 years before disgorgement. I’ve had many great Champagnes, and this is one of them. Lemon skin, yellow apple and a hint of apricot. Slightly caramelized from oxidation that makes this perfect.

Wow. Fine mousse, a bit of sweetness, but not overdone. Delicious texture.

Freshness and umami savor and chalky fruit and toast and precision and width and detail.

Very reductive upon opening, but really stretched out with some air. Candied meyer lemon, chamomile, brioche and nougat

Holy crap this is good... Rich oily and viscous, caramel apple, mineral

The champagne and company were terrific....too bad the restaurant sucks donkey balls!
