Dark cherry and chocolate on the nose. Blackberry, vanilla and espresso mid-palate. Firm tannins with refined finish. Great QPR. Happy Thanksgiving to my #delectable family! @Ron R @Martin G Rivard @Shawn G. Rose @David A Lentine @Bill Bender @LM Segal @Eric Shanks

Nothing special. Too tannic and tight.

Very nice nose, fruity in a bit spicy. Pleasant taste, you really get a nice upfront flavor, fruity but spicy again. Tannins on the backend make for a bit of a spicy finish as well...but not overbearing. This is a very well-made wine, that pairs well with a variety of foods. I enjoyed this wine on two separate occasions this week, first night was a New York strip, the second was Chilean Seabass with cannellini beans and spinach. Equally good pairing on both nights.

Bought in Napa in 2013 and feel like I paid way more than $35. Hit us like a ton of bricks with deep red fruits like currant and cherry. Nice wine and dangerously easy to drink.

Peju 2010 Merlot is mouth filling, big and fruity without being too tannic. One of my favorite wineries.
