A great offering from Patz, sourced from 18 vineyards mostly from Sonoma Coast and RRV, aged in French oak (45% new). Ruby with red/ black fruit aromas adding in spice and woody earthy notes. On the palate flavors of black cherry and ripe raspberry with citrus, cinnamon and toasty oak. Fine grainy tannins, long finish, lively acidity, ending with fruit, spice and oak. Very nice!

Oct 3rd, 2022$90 (Disneyland room service! Haha) Medium nose. Fruit forward. Notes of rasberry, strawberry, potpourri, vanilla and spice on the nose. Off-dry. Well balanced. Medium tannins, medium-plus acid, medium alcohol. Medium body. Rasberry ice cream, red fruit, and cherry on the tongue. Easy to drink. Round flavor. Very yummy. Worth buying again... at home :-)

Sonoma coast however this is a much larger more rounded style than you can find. Good wine and cannot knock it but this is the Cabernet drinkers Sonoma Coast Pinot, lovely on the nose, high acid, but on the finish you will notice the higher alcohol.
