We’ve had this for yonks, as we would say in England. The nose displays lovely black cherries along with tertiary notes of tobacco and cedar. Ethereal on the palate. So many layers and complexity. Perfect weight and balance. Finishes with kirsch and great tannins - brilliant effort.

Decanted for 3 hours. Medium to deep ruby. Nose is coated in dark black and red berries. Pretty well integrated and plush on the palate. A little alcohol on the palate but not over whelming at all. Nice furriness in texture. Lots of dark stewed berries on the palate. Moderate tannins (5.5/10) with a medium plus body. A little alcohol in the light finish too. Might need a little more to blow that off. Drink till 2020.

Very intense juice. Mellowed significantly after about an hour after opening to reveal a silky mouthfeel with bright berries, oak, and peppery goodness. Nice effort.

I'm so grateful my wife introduced me to this wine many years ago-has always been a consistent and solid fine wine.

Bought several bottles of this wine in 2008... It has stood the test of time... taste just as good as the first time.

Really fruity even after 11 years. Has some nice earthiness and must.

Allow it to open up and it softens beautifully. Great fruit and well balanced. Easy to drink. If you are daring enough put in a blender or vitamix and blend it for about 30 seconds and it tastes great
