2019 vintage. Soft, supple nose with a little Jeffrey Pine (vanilla/cinnamon) lurking about. Delicate entry with a noticeably bigger mid-palate push and then the hushed dénouement of the exit palate added up to an intriguing wine. Lots of moving parts and it will be fascinating to see where this is in 3 years. 5 years. A decade. Two. Not your average Napa cabbage.

Still quite inky with just a little lightening at the edges. Starts a little tart and astringent but then presents cassis, plum, chocolate and black tea. Finish is quite long with a hint of bell pepper and lingering tannins.

A bit young, but after an hour + it opened up nicely. Strong red/black fruit.

Hour decant and boom goes the dynamite. Balanced cab with loads of milk chocolate on the finish.

Dark wine with blackberry and plum on the palate. Some coffee mixed in there and fine tannin. Very pleasant.
