Inky in color with a purplish rim.
Metallic and Light on the nose with blackberries, oak, plums, cherries, beef jerky, vanilla, licorice, chocolate, spices and white pepper.
Medium-bodied with medium acidity, and smoother than expected, with long legs.
Dry on the palate with cloves, oak, vanilla, blackberries, blueberries, plums, cherries, earth, tar, Animal notes, chocolate, mocha, coffee, metals and black pepper.
Medium plus on the finish, with nice, mature tannins, peppercorn and bitter almonds.
A Nice everyday red wine. A unique Malbec, yet simple, Well Balanced and enjoyable. However, it is light on the nose, and watery and hollow on the mid palate.
13.5% alcohol by volume.

Paired with a nice grilled lamb chop with demi glace and sauteed spinach. Good balance of acidity but enhancing smokiness of the med grilled lamb chop. A fresh chewy compliment to a nice uncomplicated meal. The server was pushing the pinot noir blend- but I this was definitely a better choice.
