Monte Pio
Rias Baixas Albariño

2019 vintage. Albarino from 35 years old vines close to the Umia river on predominantly sandy soils. Fermented in stainless steel and 6 months of ageing on the lees. Bright very pale yellow. Lovely perfume of lemon confit, fresh yellow prunes, with hints of quince and a distinctive minerality. Fresh taste with ripe stone fruit (prunes, peaches), very present but not aggressive acidity and some mineral salinity in the finish. Very dry with less than 1 g/l of residual sugar. Abv. 12,5%. Very good value at less than 15 euros.
