Second vintage of this wine that I have tried within the past week. Blend of Sangiovese (85%), Cabernet Sauvignon (10%) and Merlot (5%). Medium ruby color. Aromas and flavors of violets, ripe dark berries and plums, bramble, leather, orange zest, fresh sage, tea, vanilla and baking spices. Medium bodied and finish. Soft tannins and silky texture. Solid firmness and pretty well balanced. Nice consistency and excellent QPR!
