Just a big while tropical explosion. Burgundy style, yet dense pineapple and white stone fruit. Elegant color. Exotic nose. Winner.

Another Wednesday Wine Committee in the books. Great hosting by @Bill Makens . 1 sparkler, 3 whites, 4 reds, 1 dessert wine all served blind.

Potential for this to increase in score over the next 5-7yrs. Very similar to the Saint Aubin burgundy before it, but slightly more reductive. Grilled poached pear, wet rock, lemon honey and honeysuckle dominate, with ripping acidity powering this wine to the finish. Hold and enjoy in a few years.

Back on track.
Paid $40 in NYC, and it’s worth every cent. Simple white wine stems cos we enjoy using them. Honeysuckle and citrus fruits on the nose and palate. Glorious way to mark the weekend with wifey.

See my prior notes. So consistent and focused. Honied with a generous serving of butterscotch. Wifey is in raptures over this - Our love fest at Nougatine, Jean Georges

Crisp, clean and floral. This tasting is good, but showing a shade too much oak treatment. Otherwise, well done.

Notes of pear. Some citrus. Oak but not overwhelming. And lightly floral notes at the end.

Excellent California Chardonnay. Crisp green apple and pear to start. Mildly buttery in the finish. A very well-made and classic Chardonnay. More Burgundian in style than Californian.
