Much better than the 1991 but definitely not much left. Still quite nice - gives a real amount on the nose and balanced delicate tart fruit with good acid.

This wine was drinking beautifully. Right in the optimal window, but it will stay there awhile so no rush. Great nose (dark cherry, tobacco, cedar, leather), good acidity and very nice complex long finish. Best part is that it was hard for my tasting partners to identify correctly.
