Vintage 2016 | Luca di Tomaso | undoubtly the most difficult wine I drank this year, lovely difficulties. Spicy cherries in nose, a tannin giant, leave this wine in the cellar for the next 3-5 years. To curb this I put it in the decanter 7+ hours. It tastes rich. Rich and stubborn. Such a promise for the future. Nice minerality. Paired with a spicy Texas stew with beef, beans and mais. ❤️ the SAGRANTINO wines.
