Bright red purple in the glass. Shy nose (initially) of red berries. Medium light body with lowish acidity and medium minus tannins that assert themselves with air. Medium finish ends on the dark side, especially after food. Serve slightly below cellar temperature and it’ll give its best. Great introduction to the more “serious” side of Beaujolais.

Strawberry and some cherry on the nose. Forest, some lavender and vanilla, light spice. Simple and expressive.

This is a beautiful wine with classic Beaujolais notes of red fruit, rose and licorice on the nose. Good balance and acidity with dark cherry and soft tannins on the palate. For $9 it is an understatement to say it punches above its weight. It is the David of the Beaujolais cru Goliath’s. The irony being jadot is Goliath.. but say what you will about jadot they make consistently good wine at a ridiculous price point.

Light bodied, boysenberry, raspberry, low tannin, short finish. Simple but pleasant, A little astringent.

Give this a slight chill. It has a rich body with a soft mouthfeel, aromas and flavors of strawberries and dark cherries, with a peppery and minerally finish. It’s simple and happy.

Little sweet, but not overbearing. Good cold. Tint of dark fruit, maybe cherry? Blackberry?
