From Willamette Valley including Bunker Hill and Eola-Amity Hills vineyards, this CH is lightest yellow with some greenish tones; fresh vibrant nose of yellow apples, nectarines, peaches, some seared butter and baking spices, and a slight Burgundy-like chalky salinity; taste is dry but round and mouthfilling with high acids and medium alcohol (13%) unripe tropical fruits, oranges and apples. The finish is long. They use mostly old french barriques for production and aging but some new oak is clearly present. On the nose I could have been tempted to guess southern Burgundy (Côte Chlns), but less so after tasting. Went well with a shrimp salad on toast pre-fried in garlic and olive oil. Very nice!

Solid Chardonnay but nothing that truly stood out. Pretty average all around.

Chard from Willamette Valley. Good body and minerals like your girl from high school.

More citrus than I was expecting for a Chardonnay, but had nice apricot and stone fruit flavors.
