This has been in the decanter only an hour but it’s already amazing. Utterly classic nose of dried rose petals, musky spice, macerated cherry, loamy soil studded with crystallized shards of crushed stone. In the mouth the flavors have gone secondary and about to get some tertiary stuff: Rich mahogany furniture, dark cherry, leather, soil notes, underbrush. The 2014 tannins are there, but they’re not intrusive. Nice length.

Popped & poured but needed more time. Definitely better with food showing notes of red cherry, tar, licorice & rose petal.

Great structure and stunning aromaticity. Taste very diverse and intense. Probably too young vintage (2014) and the bouquet opens up after good oxygenation. Great wine and definitely to keepa few more years to reach the maturity. Great.

Quite a nice Barbaresco, and more accessible at this age than expected. Tannins are very much there but not grippy to the point of overwhelming. Deep earth and dark red fruit. Soft acid on the finish. Nice.
