Face melting tannin with just, just enough fruit weight to be enjoyable.

Red and blue fruits, soil, stewed tomatoes, tar, very high tannins and very Nebbiolo like.

Intense perfume, blind thought it was Barolo, really good at any price, but for $25 a steal

Needs lots of air to soften the tannins and open up this wine, even after 9 years. Then, just wonderful. Juicy fruit, earth, and spice, sticky and lively.

Over two years since last bottle. Been very slowly drinking this case. Intense raspberry nose. Still a good deal of fruit. Earthy with tea and berries. Tannins are integrated but still very prominent. Still has years and years to go.

I have to agree with my fellow drinkers of this wine. Baroloesque. Not sure if that is a word but you know what I mean. Slight tar, cherry, earth. Wasn’t what I expected. Very good.

So so soooo dry, but in a good way.

Up front was all smoked cherries. Opened up to show some cola spice and a little sweet, toasty oak. Finished with even more red fruit and some licorice and herbal notes. Love Xinomavro. Love the precision of this wine.

What a gorgeous beautiful dark wine. Such an aromatic nose - spiced cherries, like those soaked in bourbon for an extended period of time. Gamey. Tertiary notes, vegetal, stewed mushroom. Oh so nice. Attack is soft and builds rapidly to dry black fruit. Tannins are grippy and very fine.
