Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc

This is a very tasty Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand.

Dry on the palate with medium plus acidity. Nicely balanced and crisp with mild complexity.

Showing limes, grapefruits, lemons, citrus, green apples, gooseberry, light tropical fruits, spices and white pepper.

Good right out of the bottle and better when properly chilled.

I paired it with Ahi Tuna Sashimi.

Pale straw with green edges and aromas of citrus and tropical fruits with floral herb notes. On the palate juicy apricot, peach and pineapple with lemon zest, classic New Zealand SB. Vivid acidity and spice complement this well balanced wine to a medium finish.

Decent, not great. We're working through New Zealand wines and this one won't rise to the top.

Consistently great wine! Not quite as zippy as previous bottleings, missing gooseberry notes. Still delicious and always a favorite!
