If you allow the wine to age a few years in the bottle, The big boldness drops away and you get more of the pure fruit and the integration of the fruit and tannin happens

8/2022. Good cab. Bold and flavorful. Nice on the palate.

Nice front label of a lion beast which was not recognized. Had to use the rear label.

$20 Medium nose. Notes of blackberry, spice, and cinnamon. Off-dry. Medium alcohol, high acid, high tannins. Medium body. Notes of blackberry, strawberry, rasberry and hints of watermelon. This wine is enjoyable. It's not very well balanced, but the pleasant flavor makes up for the high acidity and tannins. Decent $15 choice but not worth much more.

Strong tannins but well balanced. Tasting notes said anise and I definitely pick up a bit of that. Overall pretty tasty
