Hillside Cabernet Sauvignon 2020

This bottle is definitely a treat for me! Our favorite steak house serves this and it’s a hit with my juicy medium steak! I love how strong it is but also smooth to sip. — 3 months ago

Château de Beaucastel

Châteauneuf-du-Pape Red Rhône Blend 2011

Insanely well integrated, big, overripe jammy blackberry and cherry fruit up front is followed closely by bushels of briary herbs, tingly pepper, smoked meat, chocolate, blood, vanilla, tobacco, bergamot, blood orange, alder, saddle leather, earth, minerals, and just about everything else under the sun while somehow remaining superbly poised and balanced. A masculine juggernaut that just kept giving and giving new flavors over the course of several hours. Wowzers. — 9 years ago

Russian River Valley Pinot Noir

Great stuff, a little punchy at 14.5%. Late nighter, meaty drinker. — 6 months ago

Toscana Super Tuscan Blend 2016

Gritty, muscular, and high in acidity, this eventually came through with gorgeous stewed plums and figs, pressed flowers, potpourri. A juggernaut, and perhaps it’s more acidic qualities will soften with time. — 4 years ago

Sonoma Coast Chardonnay

Absolutely stunning Cali chard - well balanced citrus, oak and vanilla acting in concert. Nice punch and yet a very enjoyable glass. Great finish that lingers and makes you think about pouring another glass. — 8 months ago
