Oct 12th, 2019My bottle was in perfect shape and had aged perfectly. Fresh pineapple followed by crisp green apple. Outstanding wine and ready to drink now. Not over sweet like many Ausleses, but instead, perfectly balanced and perfect with Chinese food. This Riesling has a precision to its flavors that is extraordinary

Quite lively on the palate - gives a sense of effervescence when there is none. Great great acidity. Fruit is a touch more restrained than the 2012, for example.
