2012 vintage. Doesn't look good (cloudy and very evolved color), but smells and tastes good if given some time in the glass. Candied strawberries in the nose. Smooth and velvety, not very complex, but a nice drink. Serving it slightly chilled gave the best results for me.

It's rare to encounter a Beaujolais that needs decanting but this one absolutely required it. Once it arrived watch out, perfume like aromas for days of red berries, granite minerality, and subtle spices. A top 5 #bojo for me. #kermit #morgon #gamayzing #foillard

Tasty...first time exploring this region/style. I was surprised by its thinness but the wine has good fruit with light spice. Kind of reminded me of a slightly diluted CA Pinot. Probably needs more time to breathe

High toned red fruit, some VA and lots of acidity. We decanted it to let it soften up a bit. Second time to drink Thévenet this month. Maximum drinking pleasure! His VV cuvée comes from a parcel with 70+ year old vynes and is aged in old oak barrels (that first belonged to Domaine Romanée-Conti), after a 'cool' (not cold) macération carbonique.

Checking out the new space. We needed the ice bucket for this guy to bring the temp down slightly and now I'm just hoping they have more inventory. Drink more Beaujolais!
