Les Genouvrées Bourgogne Pinot Noir

Bomb.com. Yup. I said it.

So pure. Clean fruit. Complex and mineral. Bright, citric. Amazing stuff. One of my favorite Burgundy guys. I get the least amount of wine of course. Next will be 2014.

Last bottle. Need some 2013. So good.

Great as always. If I had patience, I would age, but showing so well now

Amazing. Like no Chardonnay I've ever had. Slight oak but also with fruit; complex wine with tons going on. Opened up over a couple hours. Thanks Lyle.

Lacks the weight of a "better" burgundy but god this is delicious. So complex. I almost want to cry. I wish that every friend I have were here to try this. Perfect acidity. Almost tangeriney fruit but not that obvious. Long finish. I should have bought two cases of this. Too bad this guy makes almost no wine. He'd be the next big thing.

2/2 tainted bottles!!!!!

Cork fell apart. Petrol. Definitely tainted. So pissed. From the taste can get a glimpse of how well wine is made. Will see if it recovers a bit next day. So so disappointed. Day 2, not salvageable. Another for the wine graveyard. So so disappointed.
