"Cuvée Corcelette" Morgon Gamay

grapey and delicious. a little unstable but wonderful.

Berries, floral, silk, funk in the back ground. Gorgeous and restrained.

Hopefully it's in an awkward phase or an off btl. I love this cuvée year in, year out, usually more than the Cote du Py, but... Usually vibrant, flourescent purple/fuchsia, but this bottle was a cloudy, murky, dark red. The nose and fruit were also lacking--no depth, no concentration, no focus. Really dissappointing. I'll try another soon.

Marred with undesirable, microbial consequences and is worse on Day 2.

My favorite Beaujolais is Cuvee Correllette from Jean Foillard. To me it is the perfect marriage of granite, fruit, florals and herbs. Cracking freshness and persistence all elegantly presented to keep you coming back for more...this is the real deal in Bojo kids!

Had another one in my cellar I think this one didn't get warm at some point in its life as it showed pure fruit and layers of it

Super deliciousness with a hint of bret

Oxidative and a bit of VA over delicate fruit. A real treat.

Today was a fruit day.
