If I had to choose what distinguishes Foillard over other vintners , it would his exquisite balance-it’s perfect at least to my palate. Dark cherry profile on nose & palate, straightforward in the enjoyment quotient. Cost is about what Crus are now, but it’s worth it-his Crus are now in the 40/50+ $ range, so just a wee bit out of my wallet range ( if I wish to maintain my marriage 😇)

Jun 13th, 2020Drank after a dank, remarkably humid & hot summer day, & cannot emphasize enough how welcoming this tasted. Black cherries predominate, has a touch of eety bitty fine tannins but this is really about gorgeous, meticulous fruit. Next time I’ll let it breathe, if I can resist the gulping thing. Kermit importer. Part of 1 of a 3 pack I was able to snag.

Rich but bright, gorgeous, smooth dark fruit, integrated bramble. Mouth-fillingly delicious. Amazing value.

In a sea of wine during a wine tasting marathon, this little gem stood out for not taking itself too seriously. Terrific red fruit profile. Juicy. Fun. Serve chilled and all will be 👌 in your life.
