Quite good, plenty of fruit and good tension.

Well, I’ll be damned. I could have sworn this was aged in American oak, not French. But then I looked, and yep, French barrels. Hard to say but there is some ‘yeehaw’ in this that you rarely get in an Oregon Pinot. It’s bigger and heavier and has a cowboy like quality. What I mean is that it’s less finesse and elegant, more in your face. Lots of vanilla and oak components. Heavy tobacco, some citric fruits too. Really delicious. Surprising that it’s Oregon.

Love this. Had it with some pork belly with cherry sauce. Complemented beautifully with its acidity and black berry flavors. First timer with this wine and will keep looking for it.
